Safety & Community Rules
Last updated 2026-10-29
Adults only (18+)
Vibelly is only for people aged 18 or older. You confirm you are 18+ before every chat. If you are under 18, do not use Vibelly. Accounts found to belong to minors are banned.
Community rules
- No nudity, sexual content, or sexual requests.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or bullying.
- No spam, scams, advertising, or links to other services.
- No recording or screenshotting people without their consent.
- No illegal activity of any kind.
How reporting and bans work
You can start a video or text chat without creating an account. Reporting someone requires you to be signed in, so that reports are tied to real accounts and cannot be abused anonymously.
Every call has a Report button. Reports are reviewed by hand, and accounts that break these rules are banned. Bans apply to the account, and serious cases can lead to a permanent ban.
You can also email reports to vibellyofficial@gmail.com with the time of the call and what happened.
What we store
Video and voice calls connect directly between browsers using WebRTC, which encrypts media in transit. When a direct connection is not possible, media passes through a relay server, which forwards it without being able to read it. As with any peer-to-peer video call, the other person can see your IP address, which can reveal your approximate location.
Vibelly does not record calls, and random chat messages are not stored. Direct messages between signed-in users are kept for up to 24 hours (the last 25 per conversation) so you can read them, then deleted.
If you sign in, we store your account details, your Premium status, and the details of any reports you make or receive, so that we can enforce these rules. See the Terms & Privacy Policy for more.
Staying safe with strangers
- Never share your full name, address, school, workplace, or financial details.
- Skip any conversation instantly. You never owe a stranger your time.
- Be careful with requests to move to another app. That is a common scam pattern.
- Assume anything you show on camera could be recorded by the other person.
- If someone threatens or blackmails you, do not pay. Keep evidence, report the account, and contact your local police.
